I got the audio from the library to listen to recently! I think I haven't read anything by her since I finished up Big Little Lies late last summer/early fall. I agree, I think it might be my favorite of her's, too!Sarah @ Back to Carolinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16872923498201700713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2760291375748885152.post-45588890402005681992015-06-15T16:54:24.738-07:002015-06-15T16:54:24.738-07:00Pies & Prejudice sounds like something I'd...Pies & Prejudice sounds like something I'd like: would someone have had to read the earlier Mother-Daughter Book Club books before reading this one?

I laughed at your reference to "unnecessary library trip." I was at the library today just to drop stuff off, and I noticed Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love on a shelf. I have a massive stack of books to read already but I thought "This is supposed to be really good" so I tried to take it out -- but I got an error message on the computer. There were several people already waiting at the desk for help so I just put the book back on the shelf and left. I guess someone was telling me "Read your other books first!" :-)Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15590153368194137758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2760291375748885152.post-23572148629762274892015-06-15T16:09:19.350-07:002015-06-15T16:09:19.350-07:00Fangirl was cool. I had been waiting to read the second one, too, because I thought I'd be swept away for a long time, not reading anything else. So, I was a bit surprised to stop. I will go back! And, hey, audio book is probably the way to go considering my concerns about pronunciations, ha!Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15284283852492167747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2760291375748885152.post-16070196597917227152015-06-15T15:47:19.516-07:002015-06-15T15:47:19.516-07:00I am listening to the audio version of Dragonfly i...I am listening to the audio version of Dragonfly in Amber right now. The beginning is great and the ending (so far) has been great. All that french stuff not so much. Things pick up when they get back to Scotland. I felt the same way about Landline too. Fangirl is my fav!Cassiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14534448061652850419noreply@blogger.com
